About us

   Paul

I discovered Iyengar yoga over 25 years ago whilst living in Sydney Australia.  The benefits and genius of the Iyengar system were immediately apparent and continue to inspire me greatly. I have travelled widely to study and explore yoga with many teachers including several extended trips to India and the Iyengar institute in Pune.

I qualified as an Iyengar  teacher in 2000 and reached the junior intermediate level 3 in 2006. Since then I have been living in France with my wife Lisa  where  we offer annual retreats and I teach local classes.

"The yoga was exactly what I needed. Paul's knowledge and

attention helped me access places I never knew I could.

                                                Thank you".

   Lisa

I do all the cooking during our retreats and as a result have learnt alot about food whilst meeting various dietary requirements.  I really enjoy making our guests feel comfortable and love seeing how replenished they are when they leave.

I have been doing Iyengar yoga for many years - but as a working mum have always struggled with a consistent practice.  I therefore recognise the value and magic of our yoga retreats where our guests can completely nuture themselves and thrive on helping make this happen.

"Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for looking

after us with such warm and open-hearted hospitality."

I am also excited to say that I have recently qualified to teach young children and teenagers yoga and mediatation through the organistaion 'Kidding around Yoga.  This has now become an integrale part of my English teaching to French students.  As an English teacher it is a true gift to encourage young people to develop two essential skills for modern life at the same time.

Brody and Dexter

Although you may not see them during your retreat both Dexter and Brody are always curious about our yoga guests.

Since becoming parents it has become even more apparant to both Paul and I just how important it is to take "time out" to nuture one's inner self.  Therefore, we know how nourishing and invaluable our yoga retreats are in a world full of hustle and bustle.

" Have had another wonderful week here - 3 years in a row!

Would not have imagined that things could get even better.

But this year we had the warmth of the sun, the light of the

full moon and the joy of Dexter"
